Bid & Sign

Why Bid & Sign

It started in a paving company's office, not a startup's.

The short version

Bid & Sign began as the internal system of an asphalt paving contractor in San Diego County. They had outgrown estimates typed into desktop accounting software, PDFs emailed back and forth, and a whiteboard schedule that only made sense to the person who wrote it.

So the estimate form they'd used for decades became a web app. Customers started signing on their phones. The whiteboard became a job board on the yard TV. When the old estimates moved over, more than 25 years of bids came with them, and every quirk of real paving work got handled along the way: pick-one base options, add-ons that need the customer's initials, crackfill disclaimers, numbers that never collide.

Other contractors kept asking for it. Bid & Sign is that same system, opened up so any field contractor can run it under their own name, logo and terms.

What we won't do

  • Put our branding on your estimates. Your customers see your company, not ours.
  • Sell your data or your customers' data, or train AI models on it.
  • Lock you in. Ask and we'll export your customers and estimates, including after you leave.

See if it fits how you work.
