OAuth lets someone on your team approve an app without sharing a key.

Under Your OAuth apps on the Developers tab, enter the app name and redirect URL and click Register app. PKCE is required.

Who can approve an app?
Owners and admins see the approval screen. Approved apps are listed under Connected apps with who approved them.
